Reflects - Spatial short-term memory capacity, also called the Corsi Block Tapping Test.
Digit span - The subject is presented with a sequence of digits (4, 7, 2, etc.) and then has to repeat them in either forward or backward order.
Reflects - Verbal short-term memory capacity.
Digit Span
Verbal Interference - Stroop Verbal Interference - This test requires the subject to name the ‘ink' colour a word is written in, and not read the actual word e.g. ‘the word blue written in red ink'.

Reflects - Ability to follow a sequence mentally, deal with more than one stimulus or thought at a time, and to shift the course of ongoing mental activity. Also called the Trailmaking test part A and B.
Switching of Attention - Trailmaking A & B
Memory Recall and Recognition Memory Recall and Recognition - The subject has to recall the words after various time intervals and recognize the words from a list of repeated and new words.
Reflects - Ability for new auditory-verbal learning, recall and recognition.
Word Generation - The subject is required to say as many words as possible (within 1 minute) which start with a given letter.
Reflects - Verbal fluency or word fluency.
